At Schnepp Health Care Center, our Social Service Department believes in caring for the residents' psychological and emotional needs as well as physical needs. The social workers at Schnepp Health Care Center work closely with residents and families to make the transition to a long-term car facility as pleasant as possible. Change is difficult; we are here to make it easier.

We encourage tours of our facility for potential residents and their families prior to making the decision for placement. Once the decision has been made for admission to Schnepp Health Car Center, it is the admissions social worker that assists and arranges the necessary paperwork. It is our goal to welcome and comfort your loved one from the very start.

When you choose Schnepp Health Care Center as a home for your loved one, you can be assured that regular monitoring occurs to maintain the highest degree of satisfaction. Our social workers evaluate each new resident frequently to ensure well-being and adjustment. We work closely with psychiatrists and local agencies if adjustment is difficult.

Services we help provide to our residents are vision, dental and hearing. These services are available in house as well as community based. Our community resources do not stop there, we have a wide variety of contacts available to ensure a safe discharge back home. Arranging for in-home assistance, meals on wheels, or equipment, helps you to know that you are taking your loved one home with confidence.
